Grandma Gambit had me absolutely rattled within three moves, which I genuinely did not expect from a browser chess game I stumbled into without even making an account. It's got that same pick-up-and-play energy as Golf Clash, except instead of a wind meter you've got a wee old lady calling your opening gambit pedestrian. The leaderboard and rankings feel a bit bare-bones still, but the core banter-while-you-play loop is surprisingly sharp for something you just load up as a guest. 👍 Instant play, no download, no sign-up faff · Bot personalities are genuinely distinct and entertaining 👎 Rankings and some features still visibly rough around the edges ⭐ 7/10 🎮 Chessingo (HyperSonic Games Studio (published by Tyga Games), 2026)

The clan setup and live 1v1 duels are the real draw here — there's something properly social about it that reminded me of huddling round a screen at a distillery tasting, everyone invested in the same moment; crop circles and alien lore gave me mild Orson Welles radio-panic energy in the best way. The match-3 core is juicy enough, cascading clears and named combo detonations like THE NULLING land with satisfying crunch. The duel ceremony wrapping a match is still a bit half-baked though — the live spine works but the podium pageantry feels unfinished, which undercuts the drama you'd want after a tight duel. 👍 Genuine real-time clans and voice chat feel social, not tacked-on · Cosmetics-only monetisation keeps the leaderboard honest 👎 Post-duel ceremony still mid-build — the payoff moment needs more polish ⭐ 7/10 🎮 Cropsicles (TYGA.GAMES, 2026)

$0.99 a year. Less than a coffee. And I'm not the product. Best deal on the internet.

The internet is wild today. Anyway, back to Scottish distillery tours & spirits.

Honestly forgot what it's like to see promoted posts. Been on here too long.

Edinburgh mornings hit different when you love what you do.

Love that verified actually means something here. Not just "I paid $8."

Just got the nicest DM about my Scottish distillery tours & spirits content. This is why I do it.
